What better way to get away from it all than to spend your holiday on a traditional lakeland farm in a picturesque rural setting? Lakeland farms are famous for local herdwick sheep, and lambs in spring and some rare breeds of cattle can also be spotted. You will find an array of native wildlife and birds including deer and red squirrels. Most lakeland farms are full of character and have long histories - Yew Tree Farm was once owned by Beatrix Potter and has appeared in the film of Miss Potter!
