“On the whole good however a previous review had mentioned that the shower was not fit for purpose,the shower head did not sit in the cradle and flipped around when water was switched on, so I called Sykes to inform them, maintenance was done while we were out etc but job was fully completed.”
.. The issue was half fixed I wanted to speak with the maintenance person and waited in so to demonstrate problems, however this did not happen... And as a consequence the job was only half done. It still needs further attention unless you are prepared to faff around to keep it stable..other issues occured regarding booking and extension of our stay which need further attention, before I can say anything.

Regarding Your Stay Extension Request
We understand your frustration regarding the extension of your stay. You requested an extension on the third day of your seven-night stay, and we promptly offered a price, which you initially declined. You then requested a revisit of the price, which we agreed to. Please understand that it can take a little time for us to communicate with all parties and receive confirmation before we can respond to you. We responded on the fifth day of your stay, confirming the extension was agreed at the price you originally requested. We were then surprised to hear you felt this was too late.
Regarding the Shower Issue
We were sorry to hear about the problem with the shower. When you reported that the shower head wasn't staying in the cradle, we arranged for maintenance to attend. We advise leaving the keys in the key safe as we can't always confirm an exact time for maintenance visits due to their schedule of listings. Our records show that a new shower head holder was fitted, and the issue was resolved. We apologise if you feel the job was only "half fixed" and that you weren't able to speak with the maintenance person directly to demonstrate the problem. We aim for all issues to be fully resolved, and after reinvestigating, it was confirmed the shower head holder was replaced with a complete new one?.
