Beds were comfortable. We did have to override the central heating schedule a fair bit to keep it warm enough during the day (the weather kept us inside a lot). We were mildly disappointed at the cleanliness of some of the kitchen equipment - glasses and pans that really needed washing before use and at the half used pint of (sour) milk dated BB 30th Nov that had been left in the fridge. We’d also enquired specifically about logs and been told that there had been a recent delivery and would be plenty for the week. In fact the recent delivery was coal and there were only a handful of logs. This meant we had to make a trip out to buy four bags of logs and a box of kindling as we specifically did not want to burn too much coal. We enjoyed our holiday and expect that we might rebook in the future. Thankyou !
