Good points: the garden and the parking area; comprehensive kitchen facilities and equipment (at most other places I've had to take cup and saucer and egg cup); heating arrangements; cleanliness (apart from cobweb on wall between kitchen and garden room); good views and surroundings. Bad points: Garden room seating and dining chairs far too soft (apart from two not at the table) Numerous steps and staircase with no handrail or other support apart from walls - a definite health and safety risk ...

I thought a previous reviewer might have been exaggerating but I had many nerve-wracking trips to and from Lickbarrow Road. Fear of meeting another car with nowhere to pass, potholes and a blind junction where a passenger needs to get out to check that it's clear.
