“I had to clean both toilets when I arrived.”
The place felt grubby and grimy and in need of a spring clean.
The kitchen bins looked like they’d not been wiped in months.
Sockets when you touched them were greasy
Hob - we left cleaner than we found it.
Throws on settees needed washing and were stained - yes, even the dark brown one.
Settee very uncomfortable
Fire difficult to keep lit (suggest chimney needs sweeping)
All in all very disappointing. The property looked like a once cherished but sadly forgotten, uncared for home.
For the cost we expected much better. Won’t be trusting Sykes Cottages again.
