Brampton is a scattered village in rural Suffolk, ideal for walking and cycling, and with the market towns of Halesworth and Beccles nearby. A short drive and you are at the picturesque heritage coastal town of Southwold, with its unique traditional harbour where you can purchase freshly-caught fish, or sample the local fish & chips. The harbour also offers lovely walks, a harbour shop and an excellent pub. The beach has an attractive small pier, beach huts, a lighthouse and Gun Hill, with cannons pointing out to sea. This small market town offers a variety of museums, one of which is an Amber museum, as well as galleries, independent shops and small weekly markets on Mondays and Thursdays.
