“Beautiful cottage in a prime location and superbly equipped.”

You wouldnt want for anything else. Only criticism is the mattress on the 1st floor room is past its best and needs changing (Springs have gone in the middle). Other than that, fantastic place to stay and look forward to booking in the future.

This contemporary abode has been designed to an excellent standard with far-reaching views across the bay to Lancashire. Enjoy a family-friendly holiday or a trip with friends, appreciating all that White Stones has to offer, from the calming fields in the distance, to the inviting, open-plan living area. Off-road parking is available for two cars before making yourself at home; the well-equipped kitchen and dining area is a lovely place to begin your day with a hearty breakfast, and somewhere peaceful to settle down after a journey with your loved ones. Bring your favourite bottle from the wine cooler to the sitting area for a restful evening, which is elevated by a woodburning stove and an L-shaped sofa, with a grey overtone for a sophisticated finish. A utility room holds a washing machine and extra storage space, whilst the ground-floor shower room is a sleek space to wash the day away with a power shower. Choose from two bedrooms located on the ground floor, the first is a twin and the second a double, both almost mirroring each other in style. A rather special aspect of the cottage is the master king-size room on the first floor; natural light falls in through the collection of windows, and a freestanding roll-top bath is a quirky feature, complimented by a handheld shower and heated towel rail for extra comfort. Why not wander outside for some leisure time, relax on the furniture available, or enjoy a barbecue as you watch the sun go down. The ancient market town of Ulverston is built around a cobbled main street and boasts a fine selection of independent shops, cafés and pubs with open fires and real ales. Ulverston is also well-known as a festival town, with events ranging from walking to art and music festivals throughout the summer. A destination not to be missed, you'll have the Cumbrian coast and Lake District National Park within easy reach with a stay at White Stones.
