5) Sykes merely acting like a 3rd party agent, they pass all enquiries to the house owner; despite the fact that you pay directly to Sykes, not the house owner. Not a proper ownership of responsibility, you are likely to be bounced between Sykes & the house owner in case of any disputes.
6) Overall not good value for money

We have owned The Nook for 5 years and take immense pride in our property. This has lead to many repeat customers and lots of wonderful feedback.
We have examined all your comments and have acted where appropriately as follows:
Point 1 - In order to address a damp smell in one of the bedrooms, we have had a Pure Air Positive Input Ventilation System professionally installed.
Points 2, 3 and 4 – These relate to a variety of housekeeping issues. As we employ a local company to deal with all such matters on our behalf, we constantly review their performance by carrying out spot checks ourselves together with the feed back received from our customers. As a result, we are now in the process of changing to a new housekeeping provider.
Point 5 - We do try and make contact with all our customers in an effort to reassure them that they can call us at any time during their stay to make us aware of any issues they encounter. This practice, we have found, works extremely well because it enables us to rectify any problem at the earliest possible opportunity.
