The spacious and elegant living area has been strategically placed on the first floor to take advantage of the breath-taking views surrounding Kempton. Enjoy your setting from the Juliet balcony, found in the sitting room, before locating the charming dining room, accessed via a wooden archway; gather around the table for six after preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The master king-size bedroom, set on the ground floor, has a large en-suite bathroom, whilst the further king-size and double benefit from en-suite shower rooms, catering to all preferences. Once you’re ready to explore, stroll to one of the restaurants by the lakeside, stock up on the essentials at a nearby convenience store, or return to your cottage for an alfresco meal or glass of wine after a long day of exploring the area. The lake beckons in Bowness with cruises that depart for both Ambleside and the lake's southernmost point, from which point you can board the stream train to Newby Bridge and Haverthwaite. Also accessible from this location are the Lakes Aquarium and Lakeland Motor Museum, whilst the Beatrix Potter attraction will be a hit with the younger party members; the more spirited can rent bikes and explore Grizedale Forest from this point. Why not take to the water for an afternoon of paddle-boarding or kayaking, before exploring some of the delightful towns in proximity to Kempton, including Ambleside, Grasmere, and Coniston. Wherever you explore, there are beautiful landscapes for walkers to enjoy, with the Orrest Head at the top of Windermere village, displaying breath-taking views of the lake and the surrounding fells. Enjoy a prime position in Cumbria at Kempton.
