“Absolutely brilliant place we will be back.”

Only gripe is the 10 am check out time, as you can't check in till 4 a later checkout would be better, to allow more time. We actually stayed until past 11 and even then no one had turned up.

Convenient, comfortable and great for watching the world in the park enfold. I would suggest updating the photos to show the table and chairs and the removal of the breakfast bar. Overall a good relaxing holiday

“The property was very clean and in the main very comfortable.”

The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you could think off. Our only criticism was the dinning furniture/breakfast bar. The chairs were very hard and uncomfortable to sit on whilst eating meals. There was also a chair missing. Luckily there was only two of us but the accomodation does sleep four. So there should have been four chairs not three. A proper dinning table and chairs would be far better in our opinion.

“The apartment had most of things we needed, it was very comfortable and the Christmas tree was an unexpected bonus.”

The settee in the living room was a little uncomfortable tipping forward if two people went stand at the same time. Coffee machine fab idea if only we could get the coffee pods that would have been great. Previous occupants had obviously damaged the glass cafeteria as when we filled it coffee ran out of bottom when we looked it appeared to have been glued. These are two tiny things which in the big picture didn’t affect our stay we will be booking number 3 again as long as prices don’t leap massively. We have been visiting these apartments for a number of years, love the location and apartment this was our first visit in 3 which I have to say is my new favourite.

This delightful second floor luxury apartment has beautiful views, close to the centre of Keswick and ideal for a holiday in any season. And is situated on the middle floor of this beautifully renovated building and is sure to please.Whatever reason for your visit, be it touring, walking, or simply relaxing you will find Riverside Park makes a great place to stay....see also Riverside Park no's 1,2,4,5,and 6 Accommodation: Riverside Park 3 is one of only six individual apartments in this stylish building. It has its own front door entrance from outside steps and balcony which leads into the hallway where you can hang your outdoor gear. The sitting/dining room is open plan with the kitchen and has a stylish modern interior with Italian fitted kitchen, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river and door onto small river-view balcony. Large flat screen LG Smart 43" TV, satellite freeview, wi-fi, feature electric wall mounted fireplace. There are two bedrooms, both with king-sized double beds - one with en-suite shower room and balcony and one with use of family bathroom (bath with shower, basin and wc).Furnishings throughout are high quality and modern with carefully chosen colours and fabrics. Quality laminate flooring throughout with rugs and fully tiled bathrooms complete the scene. Outside: Access by outside stairways from the parking - one named space for each apartment. Guests have their own outside balcony overlooking the river and the park beyond. Short stroll to shops, restaurants etc. Theatre and lake shore five minutes walk. Lake cruises ply Derwentwater throughout the year and there is rowing boat hire to enjoy in season. The owner of the Riverside Park Apartments has also recently converted a selection of six luxury apartments near Hope Park in Keswick. If your dates aren’t available, I recommend taking a look at them. We have Howe Keld 1 (ref: 1099816), Howe Keld 2 (ref: 1099817) & Howe Keld 3 (ref: 1099818) which are 1 bedroom, Howe Keld 4 (ref: 1099819) & Howe Keld 6 (ref: 1099824) which are 2 bedrooms, and we have Howe Keld 6 (ref: 1099822) which has 3 bedrooms.

Bassenthwaite 7 miles, Ullswater 16.6 miles; Cockermouth 13 miles.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
