Our Lake District cottages come in all shapes and sizes with a range of quality to suit every taste and pocket. Locations vary from village centre to remote and rural but all are in the most sought after parts of the National Park.

Heart of the Lakes has a number of cottages that take short breaks of either three or four nights. With so much to do in the Lake District a short break in one of our cottages guarantees you a busy few days exploring the National Park and making the most of your visit. Imagine a few days walking in the hills, taking leisurely country rambles with friends or family – back to the cottage for afternoon tea or to relax with a good film, a glass of wine and a log fire. This could be the moment to get away spoil yourselves with a little bit of downtime - A short break could be just what you need to recharge the batteries and feel the fresh air on your face.
