Whatever time of year you choose to stay you will find one of our self-catering cottages in the Lake District that fits the bill. Our Lake District cottages come in all shapes and sizes with a range of quality to suit every taste and pocket. Locations vary from village centre to remote and rural but all are in the most sought after parts of the National Park.

Many of our guests return year after year to their favourite cottages in the Lake District so, if this is your first visit to the Lake District, we hope you will enjoy exploring our website to maybe find your own favourite cottage in which to enjoy many delightful holidays.

The area abounds in places to visit, beautiful scenery, lakes and mountains, wonderful food, country pubs, pretty villages, lake cruises and boat hire. Every holiday booked with Heart of the Lakes includes free Leisure Club membership in the price - a facility much enjoyed by our guests.
