Skelwith Bridge, Langdale Valleys

Ref: 2042

  • Sleeps: 4
  • Changeover: Saturday

Puddleduck is quietly situated in a picturesque woodland setting just above Skelwith Bridge in the Neaum Crag estate, at the entrance to The Langdale Valley with some of the Lake District's finest walks easily to hand. Whatever the purpose of your holiday, being active or simply relaxing to recharge the batteries, Puddleduck makes a good choice in any season.   With the excellent Chesters by the River and The Skelwith Bridge Hotel just a short downhill walk away you will have plenty of choice for daytime or evening 'eating-out'. Riverside walks to Elterwater take care of the easier days and the Cumbria Way passes very close by just along the river from Skelwith.  Enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama from the top of Neaum Crag itself, we are told the sunsets are dramatic from this high vantage point.

The seasonal on-site club house ( March to mid Nov ) has a small swimming pool, Jacuzzi, table tennis and recreational area. Seasonal shop on site (March to mid Nov).

There are two bedrooms - a double which also overlooks the gardens and has a door to the patio. The second bedroom is a twin. Bathroom has bath with shower over, basin and wc. Storage heaters throughout.  Fitted carpets in bedrooms and lounge, tiled kitchen. The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped with lots of personal touches, games, maps and guide books for your use.
