A short drive from the popular market town of Keswick, with its great collection of local shops, cafes and restaurants along with it’s twice weekly market, waterborne adventures await on Derwentwater and for those who prefer fun on two wheels head to the excellent mountain biking trails of the nearby Whinlatter Forest

The front way opens to the inner hallway that runs through the cottage linking the living accommodation on the ground floor. The south facing and comfortable lounge is furnished with chesterfield sofas which are arranged around the welcoming log fire and TV with Freeview and picture windows overlook the garden. The dining room has matching picture windows with views to Helvellyn and the Vale of St John and the large dining table is the ideal place to relax in the evening over dinner with family and friends. The spacious farmhouse kitchen is well equipped and has a family breakfast table. The cottage also offers a spacious walk in pantry and a separate utility room.
Choose from one of four bedrooms, all offering views across the surrounding countryside, two presented with double beds, one particularly spacious with kingsize bed and the final bedroom is a twin. The bedrooms are complemented by two bathrooms each with bath, basin and WC and one with an additional shower cubicle. On the ground floor there is a further shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC.
The gardens are planted with mature shrubs to frame the stunning views. Private parking is available for four cars and a locked garage can be used for secure storage of mountain bikes and outdoor equipment.
