Brimbles takes it name from the blackberry bushes which grew in its garden. Situated in an excellent location on a small and peaceful cul-de-sac only a ten minute walk from the centre of Keswick this property is sure to make an excellent base for exploring the Northern Lakes.
There is an abundance of walks right from the door, the path to Skiddaw and Lattrigg begins nearby, and within easy reach are the shores of Derwentwater, for a low level stroll or a cruise around the lake. Whinlatter Forest Park is just a short drive away with its off road cycle paths and quiet picnic areas.
Keswick itself has everything you need, an excellent variety of shops, a good food market, plenty of restaurants, a renowned Theatre and traditional pubs. The Keswick Leisure Pool and the excellent children's play park are close-by.
Accommodation: The front door is reached down a short sloping path and steps from the driveway. The accommodation is all on one level, off the main hallway is a comfortable lounge (flat screen TV/DVD with Freeview, radio/cd player and flame effect fire) and opposite are two bedrooms, a comfortable double and a twin. Family bathroom (bath with shower over, basin and wc).
The kitchen is at the rear of the property with a small breakfast bar with steps down into the light and airy conservatory with dining table and lovely views over the surrounding hills. The conservatory door opens out onto a small patio area, ideal for summer barbecues, and steps into the attractive garden.
Brimbles has fitted carpet throughout the bedrooms and lounge and has a cosy, comfortable feel throughout.
