Borrowdale will surely make a fine location for a walking holiday in any season. Borrowdale is set on the lower slopes of Blencathra within the grounds of the Blencathra Centre with an amazing array of walks from the door, follow the paths up the valley and join the Cumbria Way as it makes its way north into some of the more remote parts of the Northern Fells, or challenge yourselves to explore the majestic heights of Blencathra or Skiddaw. With Keswick town handy for shopping, theatre, and lake cruises you will be well placed for eating out whilst the two good pubs in Threlkeld will make you welcome if you want to stroll down the hill into the village.
Borrowdale is one of four properties at the Blencathra Field Studies Council, the others are Castlerigg, Latrigg View and Derwent View.
