A fifteen minute walk on minor roads will take you into the village of Grasmere where you can try out its famous ginger bread and take a leisurely stroll around the plentiful boutiques cafes, pubs, restaurants and outdoor gear shops. Walks from the property are in abundance, with Silver How, Grasmere Lake, Loughrigg and Rydal Water on your doorstep, or you can visit Dove Cottage home to William Wordsworth and recite the famous 'Daffodils'.

The dining hall is in the heart of the house with a large well equipped kitchen with separate laundry room with additional fridge and freezer and room to store bikes accessed through the latched kitchen door to an external part of the building. To the left of the entrance a large lounge has log burner, Smart TV and DVD/Blue Ray player. Two bay windows display views galore over Grasmere Lake and toward Heron Pike, Nab Scar and Stone Arthur.
Upstairs you will find a King size master room with en-suite (WC, Basin and Shower). A family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. A separate twin bedroom and a double en-suite (WC, Basin and Shower).
Decorated throughout with attention to detail in keeping with its period with traditional touches to all rooms.
Outside: Landscaped gardens with seating areas all with beautiful panoramic views of Grasmere Lake and the surrounding fells. Parking for up to three cars in the driveway immediately outside the entrance. Grasmere village approx. 15 mins walk downhill.
