Accommodation In Detail

The front door opens on to the pretty lounge, with comfortable leather sofas arranged around the feature fireplace homely gas fire, dining table and large screen Smart TV. Two steps from here lead to the first of the two bedrooms, a pretty twin bedded room which is complemented by the adjacent bathroom with bath, basin and WC.

To the side of the living room is the kitchen which, when you open the large outer stable door, allows the light to flood in. This fitted shaker style kitchen is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher and washer drier. Beyond the kitchen there is a small shower room with shower cubicle basin and WC.

On the first floor is the dual aspect master bedroom with a little balcony, and kingsize feature bed.

To the side of the cottage is a small private outdoor seating area with bistro garden furniture. Guests also have access to the shared riverside garden directly across the road which is a lovely place to relax on a summers afternoon and BBQ the evening and from here steps lead down to the River Brathay that flows directly to Lake Windermere. Guests are respectfully reminded that the river can flow swiftly at any time of year subject to the weather and as such young children should not be left unattended in the garden.
