Overview

Number Five is an attractive newly renovated bungalow in a great location just on the outskirts of Ambleside Old Town conservation area.  A short stroll down the picturesque Peggy Hill takes you to the village centre amenities, with bars, bistros, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and cinemas galore; you won't need to use the car once you have arrived! Ambleside has everything for your everyday needs. In addition to the surrounding walks and rambles straight from the door, you can also enjoy the daytime activities including mountain bike hire, tennis, bowls, pitch and putt and a cruise or boat hire on the beautiful Lake Windermere, England's largest lake.

 

Accommodation:  The entrance is up a few steps to the front door into the hall where there is plenty of space for coats and boots. The property is laid out with all 4 bedrooms, lounge/diner, kitchen and bathrooms on the one floor. There is a master double bedroom with en-suite (shower, wc and basin), separate double bedroom, and a twin bedroom. A family bathroom with shower over bath, wc, basin. To the end of the property is a bunk room, home to 2 sets of bunk beds, providing room for 4 children. Not advised for adults.

The spacious living/dining room with access to the garden and patio, is ideal for a drink alfresco! Lounge has Smart TV with Freeview, Blu-ray DVD, Wi-Fi.  Spacious dining area with seating for 10. A log burner and newly fitted kitchen with separate utility room.

 

The property is neutrally decorated and comfortably furnished, with mostly fitted carpets and wooden flooring throughout. Gas central heating and double glazing make it warm and cosy in any season.

 

Outside: Rear patio with room to sit outside with garden furniture and floor to ceiling doors accessed off the lounge. Parking for two cars in a private drive.  Ambleside village centre half a mile downhill.
