This well-appointed property, Edelweiss, offers some spectacular views over Ambleside and out to the fells.  With walks from the door, a fine selection of restaurants, bars and boutique shops, will keep you busy your whole holiday. This comfortable neutrally decorated property is an ideal base for your Lake District holiday.

 

There is no need to use the car daily - Ambleside centre is a short downhill stroll away where you will find a fine selection of places to eat out, pubs, cafes, interesting local shops and good entertainment including an award-winning cinema, bowls, tennis, mini-golf and much more. Stroll down to Waterhead for an enjoyable cruise or boat hire on Lake Windermere or make the most of the wonderful fell walking or valley rambles that surround this beautiful area.

 

Edelweiss provides a comfortable and surprisingly spacious holiday home ideal in any season whilst large lounge windows create a light and sunny aspect.

 

Accommodation

Enter into a spacious hallway with a place for boots and walking gear. The kitchen is off to the right on the first floor of this three-floored property. The lounge on the same floor offers comfortable leather sofas, a large dining area, patio windows and a balcony, wi-fi,TV. From the hallway there is internal access to the garage with utilities and there is also a cloakroom with WC.

Upstairs to the third floor the master bedroom, with super southerly views with a king size bed, the second bedroom a twin room with velux windows providing light and energy. A good size family bathroom with shower over bath also on this floor. On the ground floor there are two more bedrooms, both south facing, a king size and a double and one has a large patio window that opens onto a sheltered patio. All beds in the property are hypnos beds.This floor also offers another family bathroom with Shower over bath.

Outside

To the rear of the property a small lawned garden with mature shrubs and hedges offer a secluded bit of privacy. Balcony seating from the lounge and downstairs patio.  The patio also provides a place to sit and relax in an evening. At the front of the property are places for two medium sized cars outside the front door, the garage also offers secure storage for mountain bikes or canoes.
