You could just explore the Lake District as this was an inspiration to a host of people; Wordsworth, Ruskin, Beatrix Potter.

There are many charming hotels that serve delicious afternoon teas that have fantastic lakeside view, you may want to experience one of amazing restaurants in the Lake District.
