Chris is a Director of Heart of the Lakes and has been here for ever… after asking Peter (his father) if he needed some help with changing over cottages one weekend back in 1991, to help fund some time off between leaving school and before going on to whatever might have been next. Not one day in the last 8700+ has been the same, everyone interesting, interesting enough to keep him here for so long.
During his 24 years stretch, Chris has done everything and there are not many situations he has not had experience with… starting at the bottom gives you a very broad outlook on life, some say he is still at the bottom helping prop up the very foundations Heart of the Lakes runs on.
With three little children in tow, well two little ones and the other is 6’3” and now helps out at Heart of the Lakes. Chris enjoys family life and is very much a hands on dad, loving every minute of the challenges thrown at him. Chris and his wife, Nicola, own the black Lab, Welly, that features heavily throughout our marketing and takes great pride using the dog to keep himself fit, though the dog does know the way to Chris’s local pub, the Hole in’t Wall in Bowness, apparently the dog enjoys a cheeky pint of cider while out for bumble. …!!
Guilty Pleasures – A round of golf and a cheeky pint of Cider.
Best advice – Treat people the way you would like to be treated yourself, but don’t beat around the bush.
Likes – Family life, Golf, Chinese food, Cars, Sunshine and given the chance scuba diving in warm water, oh and maybe some Cider.
