This is our 2nd visit to your lovely holiday home and it really has not dissapointed us, it has been kept to a very good standard us, it has been kept to a very good standard and everything was so clean and tidy and comfortable again. The location is fantastic and it's been very peaceful, so convenient for everything you could need in the Lake District.Lisa Hope
this must be the most undersold cottage I've ever stayed in. It absolutely oozes charm , we are super warm and cosy and the gas log fire is a joy (no mess). Everthing was perfect when we arrived- spotlessly clean and well equipped. We have a huge bath, the bedroom is lovely, and I adore the creaky floors, thick walls and ages old doors. So much character, I may refuse to leave on Saturday!Louisa
Make memories with your little ones this February half-term with a cottage holiday in the Lake District.
Planning a family break can be a bit stressful but with so many family-friendly experiences and things to do here in the Lakes, you know that it will be smiles that are running high and not emotions.
Leave frayed tempers and tattered tethers behind at home, and rope the family in on some high-octane adventure. Here in the HEart Lakes, there are some of the very best mood-busting experiences, like Via Ferrata at Honister Slate Mine and Bear Grylls-style abseiling as well as indoor rock-climbing centres. As an all-weather holiday choice, here in the Lakes water sports are a-go this February half-term and we’d recommend trying the popular Stand-Up Paddle Boarding (SUP). There are holistic health activities to choose from too, like yoga by the lake and nordic walking.
