    - Mrs Conroy,

The property

The Langdale Valley attracts visitors all the year round with its magical mix of fine walking, beautiful scenery, pretty villages and good pubs so we are delighted to offer Underfell to our guests who will surely enjoy a holiday in this lovely cottage. There is much to do in the area and very little need to use the car once you have settled in. Chapel Stile has an excellent local shop and cafe, the famous Wainrights Inn and good local bus services with walks onto The Langdale Pikes, Silver How, Crinkle Crags, Pike o'Blisco and Bowfell all start in Langdale and you can also extend your walks to include Scafell Pike, Great Gable and other major peaks. For easier days take the level paths to Elterwater for the Britannia Inn and beyond to Skelwith Bridge. Accommodation: The cottage is on three floors with the front door on the middle level up a few steps and into the hallway (wc and basin). The kitchen is to the right and has lovely views over the village. A cosy sitting room (flat screen smart TV, wi-fi), has multi-fuel stove and bay window with open views. There is a separate dining room where you can relax and chat over family meals and late breakfasts. House bathroom (bath, separate shower, basin and wc). Boot/coat room next to the back door. Rear courtyard where there is a well set up utility room.Stairs from the hallway lead down to a comfortable four-poster double room (king-sized bed) with a newly fitted en-suite wc. and basin. Two further bedrooms are on the top floor - a double and a twin together with a further wc. and basin on this floor and a peaceful little sitting area where you can relax away from the rest of your party. The double room also has a basin and TV. Outside: The terraced patio garden is on various levels with steps and places to sit outside and enjoy the setting. Parking is in an off-road bay outside the cottage where there is room for two medium sized cars (Ford Focus sized) carefully parked. A few minutes walk to local shop/coffee shop and pub.
