    - Mrs McCarthy,

The property

Dating back to 1800, Two Lake View was once part of an old mill now converted into four cottages which have spectacular lake views. It has been recently renovated to a high standard with all the comforts of home and will surely be the base for many happy holidays in all seasons of the year. It is most conveniently situated on the outskirts of Coniston village, and less than ten minutes walk from all the amenities. There are walks from the door to the high tops of Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam or take low level rambles to the lake shore from the footpath virtually outside the door. Coniston village has a good choice of pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes open all year round, the nearest pub being two minutes walk. Accommodation: Entrance into porch where there is room to leave coats and boots, with utility room off. Lounge (TV with freeview, DVD, free wi-fi) with patio doors and views towards Coniston water. Spacious contemporary kitchen/dining room with underfloor heating and feature stone fireplace with log burning stove. Upstairs are three bedrooms:- a master with kingsize bed and superb lake view, a second king size and a single (max sleeps 4). Family bathroom with bath with hand held shower, basin and wc. Seperate shower room with basin and wc. The cottage has been lovingly refurbished and is well equipped and comfortable for a holiday in any season. It is furnished in a contemporary cottage style. Some fitted carpets and stone floors, gas central heating and hot water. Lake views from all of the front facing windows. Outside: Parking for two cars in the driveway in front of the property.
