    “A few things need a little tlc.”

    Short flush in en suite not working. Venetian blinds in large window need attention as they are difficult to raise and lower and we couldn’t tilt them. Television upstairs could not be tuned in.

The property

One of two delightful loft style luxury apartments with beautiful views, close to the centre of Keswick and ideal for a holiday in any season. Set on the third floor of this beautifully renovated building it is one of only six individual apartments at this location and has the benefit of a third bedroom. Whatever reason for your visit, be it touring, walking, or simply relaxing you will find Riverside Park makes a great place to stay....Keswick is a year round destination with live theatre, places to eat, lake cruises, good shopping,and a lively market. Accommodation: Front door entrance from outside steps and balcony leads into the hallway where you can hang your outdoor gear. The sitting/dining room is open plan with the kitchen and has a stylish modern interior with Italian fitted kitchen, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river and door onto small river-view balcony.(large flat screen LG Smart 43" TV,with wi-fi /satellite, freeview), feature electric wall mounted fireplace).There are two bedrooms on this floor, both with king-sized double beds - one with en-suite shower room and balcony. Family bathroom (bath with shower, basin and wc). Stairs from the lounge access a mezzanine sitting area TV, DVD,CD and I-pod dock. Door through to additional twin room (This room is available for a £100 supplement, please specify on booking).High quality and modern furnishings with carefully chosen colours and fabrics. Quality laminate flooring throughout with rugs and fully tiled bathrooms complete the scene. Outside: Access by outside stairways from the parking - one named space for each apartment. Short stroll to shops, restaurants etc. Theatre and lake shore five minutes walk. Lake cruises ply Derwentwater all year round and rowing boat hire can be enjoyed in season. Each property has its own outside balcony overlooking the river and the park beyond. Note: Please note, there is £100 supplement for using the third bedroom - please request this on booking. If your dates aren’t available, I recommend taking a look at them. Bassenthwaite 7 miles, Ullswater 16.6 miles; Cockermouth 13 miles.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
