The property

This detached barn has been converted sympathetically to retain all its character and charm whilst providing all the comforts of the 21st century -Mary meadows is ideal for both families and couples alike, allowing the perfect property for both a family of four or a couples romantic getaway. Situated in the tiny hamlet of Dockray, only one and a half miles from Ullswater Lake, you will be well placed to enjoy walks from the door suitable for all ages and abilities, including nearby Aira Force. There are lots of other activities to do in the area and at nearby Rookin Hall including sailing, canoeing, archery and horse riding. Accommodation: Tiled entrance hallway with space to hang coats and leave boots, and doors leading off to both bedrooms. One room with king size bed and one twin room with en-suite shower, basin and wc. Main shower room also leading off hallway with shower, basin and wc. Stairs lead to a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with feature A-frame beams with wooden and tiled floors (TV with Sky Freeview and DVD). There are French doors which lead out onto the patio area with views of open farmland and fells in the distance. The property is furnished to a high standard throughout in a comfortable, contemporary style with fitted carpets to bedrooms; other areas have tiled and wooden floors; oil fired central heating and hot water.
