This detached barn has been converted sympathetically to retain all its character and charm whilst providing all the comforts of the 21st century -Mary meadows is ideal for both families and couples alike, allowing the perfect property for both a family of four or a couples romantic getaway. Situated in the tiny hamlet of Dockray, only one and a half miles from Ullswater Lake, you will be well placed to enjoy walks from the door suitable for all ages and abilities, including nearby Aira Force. There are lots of other activities to do in the area and at nearby Rookin Hall including sailing, canoeing, archery and horse riding. There are French doors which lead out onto the patio area with views of open farmland and fells in the distance. The property is furnished to a high standard throughout in a comfortable, contemporary style with fitted carpets to bedrooms; other areas have tiled and wooden floors; oil fired central heating and hot water. A complimentary welcome pack will be waiting for your arrival. Outside: Patio with garden furniture and lovely views of surrounding countryside. Parking for two cars immediately outside the front door. Pub 2 minutes walk. Shopping in Pooley Bridge approx 3 miles.
