A real home-from-home, Winsome Cottage is set amid a Victorian terrace of stone built houses within easy walking distance of the Lakeland town of Keswick. The property is set over three floors, is very light and spacious with good-sized rooms and there are some nice views from the upper floors of the property. Offering excellent facilities, Winsome Cottage is ideal for an extended family or a number of couples - being cosy and warm it is sure to be a popular destination in any season.

The property is most conveniently located for dining out in the many restaurants and pubs Keswick has to offer, along with the excellent shops and the Theatre by the Lake. Great walks from the door include Latrigg, Cat Bells and Skiddaw, and for the less adventurous there are easy valley rambles or you could take a cruise on Derwentwater.

Accommodation: Entrance hallway with space to leave coats and boots. Door leading off to lounge with large bay window, living flame gas fire with feature period surround (Sky TV with Freeview channels, DVD, video). Hallway leads through to separate dining room with open fire, CD/radio, and further comfortable seating. Modern kitchen leads off from dining room - fully fitted with a good range of equipment.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms with king-size beds and period fireplaces, master having en-suite shower room with wc and basin and the second having a handy basin. On this floor there is a family bathroom with bath with shower over, wc and basin, and there is also a separate wc. The second floor has two further bedrooms - one with king-size bed and period feature fireplace, and one with twin beds and views of the fells. All bedrooms have CD/radio alarm clocks.

The property has a good feeling of light and space throughout, and a really welcoming feel for a relaxing holiday. Furnishings are comfortable throughout in a neutral colour palette with a mix of carpets and some wooden floors. Lots of personal touches and gas central heating and hot water on demand make Winsome Cottage a great place to stay in any season.

Outside: There is a very small garden area with bench at the front of the house. Private parking for one car to the rear of the house and further on-street parking at the front.
