Wansfell is a newly refurbished ground floor apartment, very stylishly decorated and furnished to a high standard. The apartment was formerly part of the Borrans Park Hotel, reached up a private drive only half a mile from Ambleside village centre or Waterhead at the head of Lake Windermere.

There are plenty of walks to be done from the door including Todd Crag and the Fairfield Horseshoe, along with cruises on the lake, visits to the cinema, tennis and mini golf. There are a variety of pubs and restaurants to try all within walking distance.

Accommodation: Private entrance into a large dining area that has an oak dining table with four chairs, radio/CD player with MP3/IPod interface and payphone. Adjacent to the dining area is an open plan modern fitted kitchen with tiled floor. It is fitted with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, electric oven and gas hob.

The lounge is spacious and bright, with a wall mounted electric living flame fire. There is a 32 inch LCD TV and DVD player. Double patio doors lead out on to a large private patio area with dining furniture and benches. This patio is south facing and overlooks fields. There is a separate toilet with wc, hand basin and tiled floor.

The main bedroom has a luxurious feel with a king size solid oak four poster bed and walk-in wardrobe. Wall mounted 19 inch LCD TV. The luxury en-suite bathroom has a contemporary feel to it and includes a large cubical power shower, wc and basin. Tiled floor to ceiling.

The zip-link bed in the second bedroom can be either a super king size or two singles (please order at time of booking). The luxury fully tiled en-suite bathroom also has a contemporary feel to it and includes a wc, basin, bath with a power shower over the bath.

The property has fitted carpets throughout, with tiled floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. It is furnished to a very high standard with locally purchased solid oak furniture and co-ordinating colours, creating a modern styling. Wansfell offers a relaxed comfortable holiday environment, a real home from home. It has double glazing, central heating and all fuel is included in the price.

Outside: Parking in designated spaces. Private patio area includes a table and four chairs for outside dining and two benches for relaxing and watching the sun go down after a hard day on the fells. Shared land around the building is neat and planted with shrubs overlooking fields.
