Two Lake View is most conveniently situated on the outskirts of Coniston village, and is less than ten minutes walk from all the amenities. You could walk from the door to the high tops of Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam or take low level rambles to the lake shore from the footpath virtually outside the door. Take a cruise on Coniston Water in the beautiful steam yacht Gondola, or hire your own boat. Visit Brantwood, the home of John Ruskin the celebrated poet, or take one of the many trails through Grizedale Forest. Coniston village has a good choice of pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes open all year round, the nearest pub being two minutes walk.
