The apartment is located in an impressive, former gentleman's residence set in extensive gardens about two miles from the centre of Keswick.

"We have had many happy holidays in the Lake District and at South View we aim to offer access to all that has enchanted us. Situated at the foot of Skiddaw, it offers stunning views, a peaceful location with attractive gardens and easy access to local walks and the town centre.
This spacious apartment is furnished to a very high standard making it warm, attractive, comfortable and of appeal to all ages. We have added prints by some of our favourite Lakeland artists and joined the exclusive Oxley's Leisure Club at Underscar.

The building has been sympathetically divided into a small number of privately owned properties offering a peaceful location for relaxing and many opportunities for enjoying the surrounding area. There is so much walking to be done in the area that you will be spoiled for choice, whilst Keswick has good shopping and a choice of local eating places. Guests at South View have full membership of the exclusive leisure facility Oxley's at Underscar - about a mile from the property - with pool, sauna, sanarium, health and beauty studio, fitness room and bar/bistro.

Accommodation: South View takes up two floors with the main living areas at a raised ground floor level entered via a spacious shared entrance hall which also serves the other apartments. Once inside the apartment you have an inner hallway (wc and cloaks). Striking spacious sitting room furnished in cherry-wood has three high windows, two of which have dramatic south facing views (TV, video, stereo, fireplace with gas fire). The kitchen/dining room has side door to patio and gardens.

The bedrooms are at lower ground floor level where there is also a laundry room/store. The master bedroom is a spacious king-sized double with en-suite bathroom (shower, basin and wc). The second bedroom is a twin, again with en-suite bathroom (bath, basin and wc). Fitted carpets throughout with off peak night store heating and hot water. Quality furnishings throughout create a welcoming and relaxing feel.

Outside: Private parking for one car. Extensive shared gardens with terrace and pond. Ample room for sitting out of doors and views to the hills and down Borrowdale.
