This charming first floor apartment right in the heart of Elterwater village will make an excellent base for a Lakeland holiday at any time of the year. One of the jewels of the National Park, the village lies at the entrance to the Great Langdale Valley, surrounded by magnificent scenery and home to some of the finest mountain walking in the area.

There is much to do in the area without any need to use the car on a daily basis, as both Elterwater and nearby Chapel Stile each have village shops and a good pub to cater for your daily needs. For those who wish to tour by car there are opportunities for visits to all the famous Lake District sights whilst the local Ambleside to Langdale bus means you can enjoy linear walks returning to your cosy base at the end of a busy day. Ramblers will enjoy the picturesque river bank walk to Skelwith Bridge whilst those looking for a challenge can tackle the Langdale Pikes, Bowfell and much more.

Accommodation: Internal stairs from ground floor entrance to your own doorway, opens into the inner hallway at first floor level. Spacious corner sitting/dining room has two windows and lovely outlooks to the village green and over the bowling green to the fields beyond (TV, video, DVD, CD/radio/tape player, electric living flame stove). Well-equipped kitchen in light woods. Attractive double-bedded room (5' bed), has a range of fitted cupboards and en-suite shower room (shower, basin and wc).

The apartment has a light and sunny feel with comfortable furnishings, good fabrics and fitted carpets throughout. Central heating.

Outside: Small side garden belonging to both apartments (Maple Tree Corner and The Maple Loft Property Ref. 2027) has room to sit outside. Private parking for one car about 20 yards from the property in Britannia/Maple Tree Corner car park.
