This luxury apartment with its wonderful views will really attract those looking for something rather special in a beautiful Lake District setting, one of only ten delightful apartments in this magnificent Victorian residence formerly the Ambleside Vicarage.

Loughrigg Brow
The delightful properties at Loughrigg Brow offer some of the best accommodation in the Ambleside area and are justifiably popular in every season.
Set just on the outskirts of Ambleside within (downhill) walking distance of shops and restaurants the properties are located in a grand 19thC mansion house formerly the vicarage. Ten acres of grounds and panoramic views over the village and surrounding fells ensure a feeling of relaxation and tranquillity...quiet watchers will enjoy the visits of deer and many varieties of birds.
There are plenty of walks from the door for all members of your party - the summit of Todd Crag offers one of the finest views in The Lakes. Year round lake cruises can also be enjoyed close by. We are delighted to offer several properties at this location (also see Ref.s 1099, 1101, 1187 and 1201).
Property Location

Guests will have the best of both worlds - the village centre is only a short walk away and yet the setting is very peaceful with an 'away from it all' feel, hard to better in the centre of the Lake District National Park. Several acres of beautiful wooded grounds, with a tennis court and places to sit outside, make the most of the views. The walkers amongst you will enjoy the climbs and rambles, which can be taken from the door.

Accommodation: Situated on the second floor, Loughrigg Suite is reached by the sweeping staircase from the main door. There is a security entry system. Front door into the hallway leading through to the very attractive and comfortable sitting/dining room (32" flat screen TV, full Sky package, DVD, Wi-Fi broadband, Bose iPod dock, music centre and PS2). This room has interesting roof lines, exposed beams and the notable feature of turret windows - the whole of the Fairfield Horseshoe can be seen with the Vale of Rydal in the valley below.

There are a few steps from the sitting room down into the kitchen, which is open plan and attractively fitted. It also features some beams, a breakfast bar and another fine view from the window.

There are two bedrooms - the double room has its own shower and basin (flat screen TV/DVD). The second smaller single bedroom has a velux window, which provides excellent views to wake up to. The main bathroom is fully tiled (bath with shower over, basin and wc). Bathrobes and slippers are provided.

The property is very stylishly furnished, with high quality fabrics and fittings and an excellent range of facilities. Co-ordinating colours throughout give a lovely light and relaxing feel. Fitted carpets.
