As its name suggests High View is blessed with a most attractive vista from both its balcony and sitting/dining room taking in the beauties of Ullswater Lake and the eastern fells and mountains beyond. This is a relaxing place to stay and enjoy rural life whilst making the most of a holiday at any time of the year.

Ullswater Lake is a favourite in any season - beautiful scenery, lake cruises, boat hire and fishing can all be enjoyed. There are ample walks for all ages and abilities and a number of good places to eat in the area including the Rampsbeck Hotel at the bottom of the lane for good pub food, or even the famous Sharrow Bay for some of the Lake District's finest dining. Delightful Pooley Bridge has good local shopping as does Glenridding in the other direction, both villages have steamer cruises and boat hire.

Accommodation: Several steps lead up to the entrance. Off the hallway is the modern well equipped galley kitchen, the family bathroom has bath with shower over, wc and basin, a small twin room (TV and DVD), and the spacious light and airy lounge/dining room (Sky TV with Freeview channels, DVD, video and living flame gas fire) and large balcony with panoramic views of Lake Ullswater. Down a few steps from the hallway is a neat double bedroom with en-suite shower, wc and basin.

The property has good quality furnishings and fixtures throughout and offers a high degree of comfort, with neutral colour schemes throughout. Electric Heating.

Outside: Parking for one medium sized car directly outside the property. Shared garden areas. Large balcony off the lounge/dining area with garden furniture and panoramic views of Ullswater.
