Ghyll Bank has it all - a wonderful position with views over the valley to Skiddaw, a spacious interior, walks from the door, a delightful garden....in fact everything you could need to make your Lake District holiday enjoyable in any season.

This early 20th century detached country house offers character with all modern conveniences - a place to relax and unwind or a fine starting point for walking or touring throughout the beautiful surrounding area. Braithwaite village has good pubs, a restaurant and well-stocked village shop.

Accommodation: The welcoming entrance hall has cloakroom off (basin and wc). To the front a spacious beamed sitting room has large windows to either side of the fireplace (open fire, TV, DVD, music system). The newly planned dining kitchen has two outside doors to garden and patio. There is one ground floor twin bedded room with bay window and views down the valley.

Stairs from the central hallway split on a half landing leading to two excellent rooms at the front - one with king-sized bed and washbasin; one with double bed. Two further good sized single rooms off the side landing. Family bathroom with bath, basin and wc. Separate shower room with basin and additional separate wc.

The house is carpeted throughout complementing the carefully chosen colours and fabrics. Fine views from most windows.

Outside: Extensive mature lawned gardens. The patio near the house is ideal for eating out-of-doors with garden table and chairs provided. Ample parking for three cars.
