We are proud to announce the introduction of our very own Heart of the Lakes quality guidelines which we feel sure will help all our clients to choose the very best property for their own holiday requirements.

Ghyll View - Grading 3 Stars
Briery Lodge - Grading 4+ Stars
Winster Fields - Grading 5 Stars

Working within our own Quality Management Team we have carefully considered the needs of you, the holidaymaker, and you can be sure that the importance of quality at all levels is taken very seriously. Our in-house inspection team regularly visit each property to assess the quality on offer and you will find our star gradings in the bullet points at the top of each property description page.

3 Stars
Comfortable with a good overall level of quality and degree of comfort.

4 Stars
Very comfortable with the overall level of comfort being very good indeed, with attention to detail and co-ordination of soft furnishings and décor.

5 Stars
Superior properties with an exceptional level of quality in all respects. High level of decoration, furniture, furnishings, fixtures and fittings together with an exceptional range of accessories and personal touches.

Properties at the top end of the 3 and 4 star bands will be shown with a +, this denotes an above average quality standard within the awarded rating.

N.B. There is no 5 Star +

In addition to our star gradings you will also see that each property has the Heart of the Lakes very own 'Facilities Level'.

FACILITIES LEVEL
To give you more information on the standard of equipment in each property, we have included our own 'Facilities Level' guide. The level ranges from 3 to 5 and appears in the bullet points at the top of each property description page.

Facilities Level 3
Fully equipped with comfortable seating and dining facilities for each person, plus TV, iron and ironing board, full-size cooker, fridge with ice box, microwave, bath or shower, double beds minimum 4' 6" wide with access from both sides, single beds will be 3' wide unless stated otherwise. Additional items listed with the property description.

Facilities Level 4
As above plus automatic washer and drying facilities either in the property or on-site, or a laundry service available. Garden chairs will be provided if there is a garden or patio. Additional items listed with the property description.

Facilities Level 5
As above plus dishwasher, freezer, video or DVD, garden table and chairs where appropriate. A telephone is no longer required at this level. Any additional items will be listed with the property description.

VISIT BRITAIN QUALITY STANDARDS
Whilst the majority of our properties have Heart of the Lakes quality gradings, there are still some properties with Visit Britain ratings which are listed accordingly - the following quality standards apply to Visit Britain graded properties:

3 Stars
Good to very good overall level of quality throughout with a good degree of comfort and attention to detail and co-ordination.

4 Stars
Excellent overall quality throughout. Very good attention to detail and co-ordination. Automatic washing machine and dryer on site in addition to other equipment as listed.

5 Stars
Exceptional quality in all respects. High level of décor, fixtures and fittings. Excellent range of accessories and personal touches and full complement of major equipment including video and freezer.
