A Message from the Owners
"The hamlet of Colthouse with its 17th century Quaker Meeting House is situated a short ten minute walk from the quaint village of Hawkshead for shops, restaurants and pubs. Many more good pubs serving meals are within a short drive.
There are many pleasant walks from the cottage for all abilities in particular the walk to the summit of Latterbarrow Man which affords spectacular views of Lake Windermere and the Fells.
The cottage is well situated at the heart of the National Park and is within easy access of the main lakes for boat trips, the higher fells for serious walking and many other attractions."
