Fell walkers will enjoy the challenge of the Fairfield Horseshoe, Wansfell and Loughrigg Fell whilst easier rambles would take you under Loughrigg to Rydal or over Jenkins Crag to Troutbeck.

Accommodation: Castle Crag is a ground floor apartment. The front door opens into the modern stylish kitchen (hanging space for coats and boots), and then leads straight through into the sitting/dining room (flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD, free Wi-Fi broadband and modern wall-mounted gas fire). An inner hall has the shower room off (shower, hand-basin and wc). Good sized double bedroom (flat screen TV).

The property is well presented with new flooring in the lounge, fitted carpet in the bedroom and slate tiles in the kitchen and shower room. Furnishings are comfortable throughout and the property is bright and light, making it an ideal base for couples of any age.

Outside: There is a shared patio reached up some steps just along from the property where there are garden benches to sit on and enjoy the good views over the roof tops of Ambleside and onto the fells beyond. Convenient parking outside the cottage for unloading - car parking permit for one car supplied for use on nearby long stay car park.
