Braithwaite village nestles at the foot of the Whinlatter Pass surrounded by the high tops of Causey Pike and Grisedale Pike in one of the most picturesque parts of the Lake District. With three pubs in the village and a well stocked little shop you can enjoy village life to the full, Keswick is handy for main shopping, live theatre and lake cruises whilst Whinlatter Forest Park offers all manner of forest trails, Osprey watching and mountain biking for all members of the family.

Bridge Cottage is ideal for a holiday in any season offering comfortable, cosy accommodation in the heart of the village. It sits right next to the bridge with the stream running past beyond the wall and with walks from the door there is very little need to use the car on a daily basis.

Accommodation: Front entrance porch with hooks for coats. Internal door into the sitting room (open fire, TV, DVD) leading through into the dining kitchen, which in turn has a useful utility room off together with a walk-in pantry. Back door.

Stairs leading up from the lounge access the three bedrooms - one double, one twin and a single. Bathroom has shower over bath, basin and wc.

The cottage has a light and pleasant feel with surprisingly spacious accommodation, large windows and views from most to the fells around. Carpets are fitted upstairs whilst the ground floor has hard floors with rugs. The fairly simple furnishings make this an ideal property for a family holiday or for walkers keen to make the most of the excellent location.
