A spacious dormer bungalow, in a quiet cul-de-sac, on the outskirts of Bowness-on-Windermere, Bearsden is well placed for your holiday right in the heart of one of the most popular resorts in the National Park. The property stands in an elevated position only five minutes walk down the hill from the centre of Bowness and yet there is virtually no passing traffic.

Bearsden was built by its present owners and offers spacious family accommodation. There are walks from the door - The Dale's Way starts just up the lane taking in delightful hillside footpaths with beautiful views to the far fells. Windermere Golf Club is a few minutes drive away whilst Lake Windermere offers cruises and boat hire on England's largest lake.

With many local restaurants and pubs offering a wide choice of cuisines you may be tempted to eat out every night and Bowness also has an active cinema, live seasonal theatre, bowls, tennis and mini-golf.

Accommodation: This is a topsy-turvey house with the bedrooms on the ground floor. Main entrance at ground level into spacious hallway. There are three bedrooms on this level - one twin and two doubles - one of which is en-suite (shower, basin and wc). Main bathroom has bath, basin and wc.

Upstairs the house is divided into two main rooms - the sitting room to the left has a light and sunny aspect with patio doors onto a wide balcony where you can sit outside. There are seasonal views of the lake to both the north and the south with the surrounding fells in the distance (TV, video, DVD, electric coal effect fire). The dining kitchen also has some views whilst velux type windows provide good light. Useful separate utility room houses laundry facilities and wc.

This is a comfortable property with fitted carpets throughout and with gas central heating to keep you cosy in any season. The upstairs is particularly light and sunny.

Outside: In addition to the balcony there are gardens to the side of the house - mostly of shrubs and trees. Parking in the drive for two cars. Shops and village facilities ½ mile down the hill.
